A proper refractive-surgery evaluation is more than a prescription check. Ask what the clinic measures, who interprets the results, and what would make them recommend against surgery.
Identify the exact procedure and device
“Laser eye surgery” can refer to different procedures. Ask whether the proposed treatment is LASIK, femto-LASIK, PRK/TransPRK, SMILE or another approach, and which laser/platform will be used.
Compare the written quote
Confirm whether exams, medications, follow-ups and any enhancement policy are included. A lower headline price may cover less.
Plan follow-up before you fly
Ask who handles post-operative questions once you return home and what symptoms should trigger urgent care.
